Hi, my name is Lili and I’m the creative behind Cult Blonde. 

To understand a little more about my brand, I think it’s important to share a bit of my story. 

I was born in Hawaii with three inches of wispy white hair that everyone said would fall out, but never did. I grew up off the grid in a shack in the woods, which we lovingly named The Ranch. Here my five siblings and I lived happily…stealing mangoes from the neighbor’s trees, chasing chickens, walking barefoot on red dirt, running naked on the beach and crushing macadamia nuts with rocks to expose the sweet sweet meat inside. We were quite the sight to see when we emerged from our little nook in the world, and I like to joke that we were a family of cult blondes.

We heated water with a wood-burning boiler from an old ship and listened to the pitter-patter of raindrops on our tin roof. The bathroom was lined with vines and had no ceiling, so you could take a bath and stare at the stars or the clouds passing by. There were always animals sprinkled about (big ones tall ones skinny ones small ones), and I was never lonely. We didn't have much, but we had each other, and that was enough. 

My dad was an artist and jazz musician that always saw adventure on the horizon, and my mom was right there by my side, barefoot with a plumeria in her ear. They both encouraged me to create art, think independently and to connect with nature.

So now, here I am, sharing with you some of my favorite vintage, travels, and creative endeavors. I hope that they make your heart as happy as they do mine!
